The Greatness of Our God

Nahum 1:3b
   . . . the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Psalm 147:7-8
   Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
   Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

Psalm 104:1-3
   Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
   Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
   Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

   Psalm 33:5 says that "the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD." Our God is very great. All that we have we owe to Him. When you look around and see the clouds, the rain, the grass growing - remember the greatness of our God who supplies all we need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.
