Psalm 12:6    The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalm 18:30     As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. 1 Thessalonians 2:4     But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

   God is perfect and His Word is pure. As silver that has been purified in a furnace of earth, God's Word is pure. When we hold God's pure word in our hearts and speak it to others, God's pure word purifies our hearts.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
