It's great to get help from someone at the very moment you need it, right?

It's wonderful to have someone remind you that they love and appreciate you when you need some encouragement, isn't it?

It's healing and comforting to be reminded of God's promises.

When someone is hurt and wondering why "bad" things happen, can he learn the truth from the world or from someone like you who can share the truth in love?

Well, think for just a minute about those blank pages being like a missed opportunity to do all the good that you have the power to do.

When we withhold even a simple "Thank you" from someone, we've deprived him of the very nourishment we expect to get from God's Word.  Instead of receiving "good" from us in word or deed, we become like a blank page.

We have been called to reconcile men to God, not to be blank pages.
We are the ones called to serve God's Word to the world.
It is our responsibility to make God known.
We always have "good" to offer, and it is due to everyone.

If we tell ourselves that we'll "do it next time,"
we need to consider the honesty of that remark.
We also need to face the possibility that there might not be a "next time."

Is this kind of "giving good" an easy thing to do?
If you're already doing it, you're thinking "Sure.  It's a privilege."

Since you're thankful to God for what he has done for you,
you know that these opportunities can demonstrate God's love to others.
 It's by your example that people are "loved into loving."

Sometimes we are called upon to demonstrate great courage or patience.
When God expects something of us, he makes us able.
For this I am very thankful.
It is indeed a privilege to have such a Father.
